By downloading, installing, or using Steady AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Steady AI is an AI-powered sobriety companion app that provides:

Daily check-in features with AI-generated responses
Pattern recognition and risk assessment
Crisis support and intervention tools
Progress tracking and milestone celebrations
Personalized notifications and reminders

The App is designed to supplement, not replace, professional medical advice or treatment.

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Steady AI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician, therapist, or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or treatment.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or having thoughts of self-harm, immediately call emergency services (911 in the US) or go to your nearest emergency room.

4. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App
You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with local laws
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

5. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

6. Subscription Terms

Subscription Options:

Weekly: $4.99 per week
Monthly: $14.99 per month
Annual: $99.00 per year

Billing:

Payment will be charged to your App Store account immediately upon subscription
No free trial is offered - subscription begins immediately
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
Manage subscriptions in your App Store account settings

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Share your account with others
Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
Upload malicious content or code
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Use the App in any way that could damage our reputation

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create (check-ins, recordings)
You grant us a license to use your content to provide the service
All App content, features, and functionality are owned by ELEGANT PATH LTD
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property
AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use only

9. Privacy and Data Use

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to:

Collection and processing of your data as described
Use of AI services to analyze your check-ins
Storage of your data on secure cloud servers
Anonymized data usage for service improvement

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
We are not responsible for any relapse or failure to maintain sobriety
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ELEGANT PATH LTD, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you submit through the App

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time
We may terminate or suspend your account for Terms violations
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through:

In-app notifications
Email to your registered address
Update notices when you open the App

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by California law
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
You waive the right to participate in class actions
Small claims court actions are exempt from arbitration
Arbitration will be conducted in San Francisco, California

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision is found unenforceable, others remain valid
Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver
These Terms constitute the entire agreement
You may not assign your rights without our consent
